The airCentric office chair combines the benefits of airflow with the proven ergonomic support of foam and fabric chairs for a truly comfortable experience. This chair offers a sophisticated aesthetic, modular design, full adjustability, and airflow comfort.
Unlike traditional mesh chairs, the design of the airCentric’s seat and back allows the chair to “breathe” while still supporting the user in a proper ergonomic posture. The airCentric provides excellent ergonomic comfort using foam and fabric to support the user, without the rigid frame of most mesh chairs.
The airCentric brings together innovative airflow engineering with over 16 years of proven ergonomic design and patented technologies to keep you cool and comfortable. The back and seat are constructed using a bio-based foam made from renewable soy materials.
This eco-friendly foam is highly durable, standing up to many years of continuous use without losing its load-bearing capabilities, shape, or dimensions. All foam used by ergoCentric is CFC free and meets all CAL fire retardant requirements.
The airCentric's lumbar adjustment exceeds five inches of infinite adjustment, to allow the user to position the back exactly where it's needed. Easy to reach from the seated position, the patented back height adjustment mechanism is spring loaded to provide effortless support adjustment. The internal back structure has a honeycomb rib design to maximize strength. Back has a vented plastic back cap to allow continuous airflow.
The back and seat of the airCentric are upholstered in polyester mesh Air Knit fabric, a durable, three-dimensional fabric that offers breathability and long lasting comfort. The seat has a waterfall-front edge and contoured sides to redistribute the user’s weight for minimal pressure on the seat bones, legs, and veins.
